“Wear a Damn Mask”, cea mai recenta provocare din lumea vedetelor

Pe fondul pandemiei de coronavirus care nu da semne ca ar incetini ba, din contra, sporeste de la o zi la alta, vedetele din lumea showbiz-ului au lansat o provocare: Wear a Damn Mask inseamna sa porti in continuare masca de protectie ca sa-i protejezi pe cei din jurul tau, dar si pe tine. 

Jennifer Aniston, Tracee Ellis Ross si Kerry Washington sunt doar cateva dintre vedetele de la Hollywood care au postat fotografii pe conturile de socializare si in care pot fi vazute purtand masca de protectie cu constiinciozitate.

I understand masks are inconvenient and uncomfortable. But don’t you feel that it’s worse that businesses are shutting down… jobs are being lost… health care workers are hitting absolute exhaustion. And so many lives have been taken by this virus because we aren’t doing enough. ⠀ ⠀ I really do believe in the basic goodness of people so I know we can all do this 🥰 BUT still, there are many people in our country refusing to take the necessary steps to flatten the curve, and keep each other safe. People seem worried about their “rights being taken away” by being asked to wear a mask. This simple and effective recommendation is being politicized at the expense of peoples’ lives. And it really shouldn’t be a debate 🙏🏼 ⠀ ⠀ If you care about human life, please… just #wearadamnmask 😷 and encourage those around you to do the same ❤️

Campania #WearADamnMask a fost initiata de catre designerul Tory Burch si este o incercare de a reaminti tuturor ca este important sa poarte masca de protectie  in public, pentru a preveni raspandirea virusului Covid-19.

Pentru ca multe state au decis sa renunte la masurile de protectie, numarul cazurilor de infectari a inceput sa creasca exponential. In prezent, 16 tari au stopat sau au renuntat la programele de relaxare. Barurile din Texas si California au fost din nou inchise, iar accesul pe plajele din Florida a fost limitat.
